When the boys were little we would often begin our school day with one of them picking a number between 1 and 30. Whatever the number, I would pray the prayer from that chapter in Power of a Praying Parent. Inevitably, when it was sweet Tommas's turn, he would choose #2 because he knew my eyes would begin to "leak" as I prayed to, "Release My Child into God's Hands"

Today is the 2nd, so I once again pray with leaky eyes to loosen my grip on the arrows who have been entrusted to our stewardship, choosing instead to trust the Lord to care for, prepare and launch these arrows better than we ever could!
